OpenAI quietly gave some of you a rate limit upgrade. Starting now, OpenAI is collapsing its five paid API tiers into three. Build, Launch, and Grow replace the old Tiers 1 through 5. You move automatically, no payment required, no pricing changes. If you were on Tier 1 or Tier 3, you get higher rate limits as part of the deal. Tiers 2, 4, and 5 keep what they had. The practical move: log into the Limits page, confirm which tier you landed on, and set a spend cap while you're there. A spend cap is a hard ceiling on what you can get billed in a month. If you've never set one, now's the moment. Rate limit increases are free money for anyone running automations or custom tools. A hard cap is cheap insurance.
Google is putting an AI agent directly inside your Ads account. Ask Advisor is rolling out in early access, and it works differently from a chatbot. Think of it less like asking Google a question and more like handing a capable assistant a task list. It can set up conversion tracking, troubleshoot disapproved ads, and surface industry insights, but it asks your permission before changing anything. That "approval before action" part matters. It keeps you in the driver's seat while cutting out the tedious back-and-forth of clicking through menus. Conversion tracking setup alone trips up most small advertisers, and that's exactly the kind of thing Ask Advisor targets first. The beta is under NDA and Google is offering a $150 gift card to early testers who participate in research. If an invite shows up in your account, it's worth accepting.
