Shopify quietly moved your AI Knowledge Base and set a deadline. If you run a Shopify store, log in now. Shopify has folded the standalone Knowledge Base app directly into your store admin under Sales channels > Agentic > Knowledge base. Your old published facts are still live. But here's the part that'll bite you if you ignore it: Shopify also drafted a batch of new facts pulled from your storefront, things like contact details and gift services, and those are unpublished by default. Your AI agents can't see them until you review and publish them yourself. The old app gets retired January 15, 2027. That sounds far off until it isn't. Go check it now, publish what you want your AI using, and ignore the rest. Full details at Shopify.
NetSuite is baking AI into the back office. Oracle NetSuite is rolling out AI capabilities aimed at automating accounting, flagging decisions before they go sideways, and cutting down the daily grind of business operations. If you're already on NetSuite, this is worth a call to your account rep to find out what's actually live versus what's on the roadmap. If you're evaluating ERP software right now, AI-native back-office tools are becoming the baseline expectation, not a premium add-on. Read more here.
Free panel Wednesday: what AI leaders at Stripe, Lyft, and others are actually planning for 2027. Zapier is hosting a free live session this Wednesday, October 28, at 10 a.m. PT. Four AI leaders from Stripe, Lyft, ServiceNow, and Handshake are sharing what they're scaling, what they're funding, and what they're cutting. A few things worth your attention from the agenda: Stripe's rep covers how sales AI is moving from answering a rep's questions to just handing them the next move to make. Lyft's rep talks about building AI strategy around where work slows before it ever reaches the customer. That's a useful frame for any owner trying to figure out where to start. Everyone who registers gets the recording, so even if Wednesday doesn't work, sign up. Register here.
